Plant Listing

Choices

Selecting the appropriate plant for your needs and conditions can be a daunting task.  Pippi’s 2010 Plant Listing is intended to assist you with your selection.  Each plant description includes the botanical name, the common name, the plant hardiness zone, the plant height, when it typically blooms, and a general description.  We’ve also included symbols to represent a variety of information from the plants light requirements to whether or not the plant attracts butterflies or hummingbirds.  

Look for Perennial Plant Association (PPA) Plant of the Year selections inside our plant listing! These plants have been selected by members of the PPA for meeting the following criteria: 
  • Suitable for a wide range of climate conditions
  • Low maintenance
  • Pest and disease resistant
  • Easily propogated
  • Multiple seasons of ornamental interest

The availability of the plants listed varies throughout the growing season.  If you do not see a plant that you are interested in, please mention it to us.  We will be happy to try to get it for you.
